Wesley Pernambucano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guga de Godoi's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. If Guga de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agnaldo Sergipano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vágner Chaves in the 23rd minute. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Guga de Godoi put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wesley Pernambucano. A hard shot 30 in the game by Vágner Chaves from a close distance when the talented Agnaldo Sergipano managed to make a qualified save. Jeru SS's players were relieved. Wesley Pernambucano stood somewhat misplaced when Gilson Vander came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 53 minute. Guga de Godoi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 57th playminute. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Caio Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
