Ricardo Toscano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Samuel Quintal made a huge save. Laércio de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Samuel Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Manoel Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Salgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tostão Santana's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Victor Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tostão Santana in the 34th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Tostão Santana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Osbravos EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tostão Santana made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Cícero Santana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Osbravos EC and the Edson gol players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Osbravos EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cícero Santana to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Quintal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Toscano's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Osbravos EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexsandro Trevisan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 69 minutes of play Osbravos EC's Manoel Figueiredo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. One of Osbravos EC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Edson gol:s goal. Edson gol's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Tostão Santana scored to the left of an out of position Victor Salgado, making the score, 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
