Spectators: 7207 (Terracing: 5407, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) In the 3rd minute Juvenal Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Telmo Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Falcão Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Luiz Fabiano Teles struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Wesley Pernambucano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SS Excellsior FC. After 14 played minutes Tesourinha got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Baiano. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Abel Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SS Excellsior FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Arantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wesley Pernambucano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the game, Falcão Rodrigues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tesourinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SS Excellsior FC the free kick. In the 17th minute, Falcão Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Tesourinha's Wesley Pernambucano got control of the ball when Cido Eger tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 26 played minutes, Tesourinha's William Linhares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Telmo Seco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tesourinha reached it. After 37 minutes, Oséas Linhares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SS Excellsior FC and the Tesourinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oséas Linhares hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juvenal Machado in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Telmo Seco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 50 minutes, Vágner Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tesourinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vágner Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juvenal Machado to make the kick off. Luiz Fabiano Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vágner Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexsandro Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 92ndth minute of the game Luiz Fabiano Teles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tesourinha's Wesley Pernambucano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Telmo Seco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juvenal Machado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 93 minute of play. The Tesourinha players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
