Ricardo Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Zonta having to interfere. Nilton Siqueira hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Bernardinho Santana from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Victor Salgado's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Laércio de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Zonta having to interfere. CA Juventus - FDFDF's Elano Cerezo got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Edson gol's Victor Salgado got control of the ball when Ulysses Lopes tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ricardo Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elano Cerezo made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Toscano got free with William Zonta in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laércio de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. William Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William Zonta made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Ricardo Toscano sent off a good shot on target. Nilton Siqueira charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nilton Siqueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Edson gol's Nilton Siqueira got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Elano Cerezo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, Júlio de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute of the match Bernardinho Santana shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Salgado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ulysses Lopes struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Victor Salgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Juventus - FDFDF. In the 83rd minute Elano Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
