Anderson Rochas short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Arlindo Lopes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Garos da Villa F.C's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ismael Siqueira 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge de Andrade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ismael Siqueira struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Arlindo Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palestra de Tomini. The audience was convinced that Ismael Siqueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arlindo Lopes was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Arlindo Lopes came out of the goal and Anderson Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arlindo Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago de Lara in the 80th minute of play forced Garos da Villa F.C's goalkeeper Arlindo Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Garos da Villa F.C's goalkeeper Arlindo Lopes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ismael Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Lopes having to interfere.
