Anderson Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Zé Carlos das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Carlos das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute of the match Gilvan Silva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Carlos das Neves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Spartan Legendary's Serginho Zonta got a free kick in the 30th minute. Zé Carlos das Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ismael Siqueira's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. João Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Paranaense in the 35th minute of play. When Spartan Legendary's Silas Paranaense in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Palestra de Tomini booed when Spartan Legendary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmílson Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Palestra de Tomini's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Brito came free, but João Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Dráuzio Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas Paranaense in the 92nd minute of play forced Palestra de Tomini's goalkeeper João Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dráuzio Brito fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spartan Legendary's protests and gave Dráuzio Brito a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Spartan Legendary's Dráuzio Brito got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Palestra de Tomini's Anderson Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ismael Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos das Neves having to interfere.
