Birutas FC's Di Daa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Burutzagi in the 10th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Adan Burutzagi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Di Daa to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Timbu EC's Adan Burutzagi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Di Daa. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabrizio Varglien in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimundo Miliano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Fabrizio Varglien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Augusto Sanches hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Timbu EC's zone, Sandro Severo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Miliano came out of the goal and Sandro Severo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute of the match, Telmo Tepedino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Di Daa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Birutas FC's Di Daa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Burutzagi in the 41st minute of play. Zé Augusto Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Di Daa having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adan Burutzagi got free with Di Daa in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Motta during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Birutas FC's Alberto Motta got a free kick in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Birutas FC's goalkeeper Di Daa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adan Burutzagi. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandro Severo made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Birutas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Burutzagi came free, but Di Daa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Di Daa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Károly Vörös in the 55th minute of the match. Di Daa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Augusto Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 58 played minutes Birutas FC got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Severo. Di Daa came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Timbu EC's Adan Burutzagi. But to his dismay, Adan Burutzagi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 72nd minute Adan Burutzagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Di Daa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timbu EC's Károly Vörös got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Gualter Dante threw the ball into play from the sideline. Timbu EC's Alan Rodrigues quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 83rd minute Adan Burutzagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Di Daa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Birutas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamim Vieira came free, but Di Daa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
