Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5382, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sandro Severo kicked off to start the match. When Gabriel Capixaba came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Ja matei saudade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Capixaba couldn't finish the play. After having played for 6 minutes, Fabrizio Varglien managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birutas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrizio Varglien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabiano das Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Di Daa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Jairo Vianna hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes Birutas FC got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Lara. 24 minutes into the match, Gabriel Capixaba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Di Daa. Birutas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Capixaba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 33 minutes into the match, Ja matei saudade's goalkeeper Leonardo Luz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandro Severo. Ja matei saudade's Leonardo Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Varglien in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Fabrizio Varglien managed to get in a good position for a shot. Birutas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrizio Varglien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Sandro Severo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leonardo Luz, 1-1. Birutas FC's Di Daa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano das Neves in the 44th minute of play.

The wind increased when Zézinho Ceresso made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Hamílton de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Di Daa made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Hamílton de Queiroz sent off a good shot on target. Sandro Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Luz having to interfere. Di Daa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zézinho Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zézinho Ceresso in the 68th minute of play forced Birutas FC's goalkeeper Di Daa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Birutas FC's Sandro Severo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Luz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 75th minute of the match Cássio Torres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Di Daa skillfully saved the ball. In the 77th minute, Hamílton de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabrizio Varglien took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonardo Luz. Leonardo Luz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Birutas FC's Fabrizio Varglien got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sandro Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Leonardo Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
