Fabiano da Silveira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 10th minute. Icatu SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Icatu SC's Víktor Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano das Neves in the 12th minute of play. Leonardo Luz made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Nelsinho Vinhas sent off a good shot on target. Victor Salgado's late challenge caught a Icatu SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Salgado helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ja matei saudade getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Victor Salgado hit a great ball. With a little luck, Ja matei saudade's Leonardo Luz got control of the ball when Chico Cardoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabiano das Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Víktor Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Zézinho Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Luz made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Chico Cardoso sent off a good shot on target. Leonardo Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano da Silveira in the 36th minute of the match. If Fabiano da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Luz having to interfere. Chico Cardosos short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Leonardo Luz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Icatu SC's Víktor Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano das Neves in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zézinho Ceresso to strike the kick off in the second half. Chico Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonardo Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Luz came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Icatu SC's Fabiano da Silveira. But to his dismay, Fabiano da Silveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Leonardo Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Cardoso in the 72nd minute of the match. Fabiano da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Leonardo Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Cardoso in the 78th minute of the match. Leonardo Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano da Silveira in the 79th minute of play. Icatu SC's Víktor Ortiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Icatu SC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Cardoso in the 92nd minute of play forced Ja matei saudade's goalkeeper Leonardo Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Icatu SC booed when Ja matei saudade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Ja matei saudade's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano da Silveira came free, but Leonardo Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Icatu SC fully deserved thier win.
