After 25 played minutes Palestra de Tomini got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Munhoz. The attack was good, but when Çağrı Zübeyr in the 26th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Oscar Siqueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Borges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Palestra de Tomini got a freekick which was hit by Anderson Rocha. In the 34th match minute, E C JUVENTUDE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mo Salah to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Palestra de Tomini's goalkeeper João Borges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Çağrı Zübeyr. Çağrı Zübeyr who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of João Borges when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Segundo Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. João Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Palestra de Tomini's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Çağrı Zübeyr fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. João Borges was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Segundo Romero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. João Borges made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Çağrı Zübeyr sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Çağrı Zübeyr was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Çağrı Zübeyr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. E C JUVENTUDE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Çağrı Zübeyr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palestra de Tomini's goalkeeper João Borges, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Çağrı Zübeyr might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Borges. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Çağrı Zübeyr ran back to his position shaking his head. 63 minutes into the match, Segundo Romero notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Palestra de Tomini's João Borges. João Borges was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Çağrı Zübeyr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Palestra de Tomini's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Romero came free, but João Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Segundo Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of E C JUVENTUDE booed when Palestra de Tomini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuca da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segundo Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Segundo Romero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Borges was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. João Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çağrı Zübeyr in the 81st minute of the match. Segundo Romero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Borges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. E C JUVENTUDE fully deserved thier win.
