Falcão Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Cosme having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Itaquarari's goal looked a bit too open when Armandinho Cavalcante came free, but Júnior Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Itaquarari's goalkeeper Júnior Lucas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Armandinho Cavalcante came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Estacado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armandinho Cavalcante couldn't finish the play. Armandinho Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júnior Lucas having to interfere. After 29 minutes of play, Estacado's Júnior de Sena made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júnior Lucas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute of the match, Ian Lira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Álvaro Cosme saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Armandinho Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Falcão Marinho got free with Álvaro Cosme in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ian Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Falcão Marinho succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Edu Palmeira made the kick off in the second half. Armandinho Cavalcante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júnior Lucas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. If Edu Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armandinho Cavalcante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Júnior Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Álvaro Cosme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Edu Palmeira might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júnior Lucas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edu Palmeira ran back to his position shaking his head. Armandinho Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Itaquarari's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Alcântara came free, but Júnior Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Ulysses Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Falcão Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Cosme having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Edu Palmeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Júnior Lucas was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Álvaro Cosme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Lira in the 85th minute of the match. Armandinho Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júnior Lucas having to interfere. If Armandinho Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Estacado players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
