In the 35th minute, E C JUVENTUDE's Çağrı Zübeyr ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonardo Luz. Leonardo Luz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. After having played for 38 minutes, Segundo Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. E C JUVENTUDE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Segundo Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ja matei saudade's zone, Segundo Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Luz came out of the goal and Segundo Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Çağrı Zübeyr ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Luz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind E C JUVENTUDE's goalkeeper Carlos Secco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Çağrı Zübeyr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çağrı Zübeyr, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If Segundo Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
