Ian Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Camargo having to interfere. Valdir de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Júnior Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdir de Barros couldn't finish the play. Júnior Lucas made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Anselmo Costa sent off a good shot on target. Valdir de Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júnior Lucas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After 86 minutes, Anselmo Costa made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Itaquarari's Júnior Lucas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir de Barros in the 91st minute of play forced Itaquarari's goalkeeper Júnior Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
