Time de Futebol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave QUEBRA OSSO FC the free kick. The supporters of QUEBRA OSSO FC booed when Time de Futebol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Delfim Sousa managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when QUEBRA OSSO FC's Miguel Leão fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Time de Futebol's Delfim Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Augusto Neto in the 17th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, QUEBRA OSSO FC's Miguel Leão made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delfim Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Delfim Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Augusto Neto in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, Time de Futebol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Joel Paraense was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Time de Futebol's Delfim Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Augusto Neto in the 41st minute of play. Elvin Bourgouin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Leite in the 44th minute of play. José Augusto Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Sousa having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wellington Leite to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, José Augusto Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. QUEBRA OSSO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but José Augusto Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delfim Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Time de Futebol getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ismael Sá hit a great ball. Delfim Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Time de Futebol defense, Miguel Leão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delfim Sousa. The Time de Futebol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delfim Sousa should have stopped the shot. If Miguel Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. Chico Guedes charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Delfim Sousa was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. QUEBRA OSSO FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
