Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Claudinho Vargas came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Itapuan AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinho Vargas couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Pardal da Alta Mogiana's Inácio Diniz got a free kick in the 14th minute. Nilmar Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Paulo Renato Peixoto struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Manfredo Martins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itapuan AD. When Inácio Diniz fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pardal da Alta Mogiana's protests and gave Inácio Diniz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Itapuan AD booed when Pardal da Alta Mogiana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 played minutes Itapuan AD got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Peixoto. After a rather tough play, Itapuan AD's Paulo Renato Peixoto got a free kick in the 37th minute. Itapuan AD's Flavinho Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro Proença in the 40th minute of play. After 44 minutes of play, Pardal da Alta Mogiana's Hermínio de Almeida made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavinho Zonta was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Itapuan AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pardal da Alta Mogiana were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hermínio de Almeida made a kick off. Flavinho Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio de Almeida in the 52nd minute of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itapuan AD's goalkeeper Flavinho Zonta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flavinho Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio de Almeida in the 64th minute of the match. Evandro Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Flavinho Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hermínio de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermínio de Almeida in the 74th minute of play forced Itapuan AD's goalkeeper Flavinho Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Itapuan AD getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Paulo Renato Peixoto hit a great ball. When Pardal da Alta Mogiana's Evandro Proença, in the 76th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Pardal da Alta Mogiana. Evandro Proença blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavinho Zonta having to make a save. Claudinho Vargas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manfredo Martins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Claudinho Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Manfredo Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pardal da Alta Mogiana players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
