The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cássio de Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Groggia FC's attack was well implemented in the 15th minute, but when Tales Rocha was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. If Mário Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Tales Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cássio de Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Groggia FC's Tião Moreno got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute Oséias Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oséias Perez hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, LonDriNa ParAnÁ CluBe's goal looked a bit too open when Tales Rocha came free, but Cássio de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Belmiro Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oséias Perez made a kick off. When Belmiro Bezerra came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the LonDriNa ParAnÁ CluBe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belmiro Bezerra couldn't finish the play. Mário Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Coelho having to interfere. Jaime Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmiro Bezerra in the 69th minute of play. Mário Cruz struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Jaime Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LonDriNa ParAnÁ CluBe. Tales Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Groggia FC booed when LonDriNa ParAnÁ CluBe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oséias Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cássio de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oséias Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tião Moreno kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Oséias Perez charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oséias Perez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Mário Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle went the supporters of Groggia FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant LonDriNa ParAnÁ CluBe side.
