If Humberto Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Humberto Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caquitos's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Guilherme Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, Bruno de Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Humberto Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Luís Guilherme Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Caquitos! In the 19th minute, Bruno de Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Caquitos's Bruno de Senna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Guilherme Branco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luís Guilherme Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno de Senna in the 24th minute of play. Bruno de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Guilherme Branco having to interfere. Bruno de Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Guilherme Branco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Emílio dos Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Willian da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Abraão in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, one of Caquitos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caquitos. 44 minutes into the match, Bruno de Senna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Guilherme Branco. Subiu Esporte Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno de Senna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Caquitos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Bebeto Bittencourt scored to the left of an out of position Willian da Silveira, making the score, 2-2. After 56 minutes of play, Caquitos's Aníbal Campidelis made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Guilherme Branco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luís Guilherme Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Bebeto Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Willian da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Subiu Esporte Clube's zone, Bruno de Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Guilherme Branco came out of the goal and Bruno de Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno de Senna in the 67th minute of play forced Subiu Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Luís Guilherme Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caquitos's Bruno de Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emílio dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Guilherme Branco having to interfere. Luís Guilherme Branco came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Caquitos's Bruno de Senna. But to his dismay, Bruno de Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. José Paulo Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Bruno de Senna put it in 6-2 from a short distance just to the right of Luís Guilherme Branco. In the 88th minute, one of Caquitos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caquitos. The goalkeeper, Willian da Silveira, was totally fooled by Subiu Esporte Clube's Magno Toledo, who 91 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Humberto Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caquitos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
