In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real C.A.Pirassununguense's goalkeeper Orlando Matos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luisão Falcão struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Orlando Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Delvino FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisão Falcão in the 44th minute of play forced Real C.A.Pirassununguense's goalkeeper Orlando Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Real C.A.Pirassununguense's Orlando Matos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Real C.A.Pirassununguense from getting a goal against them.
