After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Juninho Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Subiu Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Juninho Nunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jânio Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Sport Noia FC's Luiz Fernando de Alcântara got a free kick in the 7th minute. Jânio Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardinho Linares in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Guilherme Branco saved Subiu Esporte Clube from getting behind. After 13 minutes of play, Sport Noia FC's Caio Favoretto made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Guilherme Branco was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Subiu Esporte Clube's Bebeto Bittencourt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jânio Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luiz Fernando de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Subiu Esporte Clube's Magno Toledo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sport Noia FC. 24 minutes into the match, Subiu Esporte Clube's Marco Abraão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jânio Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Caio Favoretto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Luís Guilherme Branco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luís Guilherme Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel da Silva in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Sport Noia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Bittencourt came free, but Jânio Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Bebeto Bittencourt notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sport Noia FC's Jânio Magalhães. Jânio Magalhães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Subiu Esporte Clube's Bebeto Bittencourt got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jânio Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Marco Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bebeto Bittencourt took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jânio Magalhães. Jânio Magalhães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Bebeto Bittencourt made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Marco Abraão notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Sport Noia FC's Jânio Magalhães. Jânio Magalhães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jânio Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Bebeto Bittencourt sent off a good shot on target. Marco Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Magalhães having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Sport Noia FC's goalkeeper Jânio Magalhães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Abraão. Juninho Nunes's late challenge caught a Sport Noia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juninho Nunes helped the player get up and apologised. Juninho Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Abel da Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel da Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sport Noia FC's Abel da Silva got a free kick in the 76th minute. Caio Favoretto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ricardinho Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel da Silva in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Guilherme Branco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardinho Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Guilherme Branco having to interfere. Silvério Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Silvério Sampaio hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Bebeto Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
