Kaká Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Mesquita charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomás Mesquita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Real C.A.Pirassununguense's Tomás Mesquita got a free kick in the 14th minute. Waldemar Lucas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jarbas Souto. Potyrendaba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, César Passos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Potyrendaba's Jarbas Souto. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for César Passos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Arlindo Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Joel Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augusto de Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Jarbas Souto made a huge save. Orlando Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Potyrendaba's Jarbas Souto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Potyrendaba from getting a goal against them.
