Luís Paulo Silva acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Magno Toledo. 78 minutes into the match, Subiu Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Senna came free, but Luís Guilherme Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Guilherme Branco having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Subiu Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Marco Abraão. For all the effort they put into the match, the Subiu Esporte Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tricolor dos Pampas FC.
