Potyrendaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delvino FC the free kick. After 16 played minutes Potyrendaba got a freekick which was hit by Matías Prata. Luisão Falcão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jarbas Souto made a huge save. Jarbas Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugênio Campidelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Potyrendaba's Kaká Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Potyrendaba's Kaká Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dráusio Mazza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Delvino FC's Dráusio Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Castro in the 58th minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Delvino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Peres to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Kaká Castro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dráusio Mazza was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 69th minute of the match Didi Neto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dráusio Mazza skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arlindo Salgado got free with Dráusio Mazza in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Potyrendaba's zone, Luisão Falcão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarbas Souto came out of the goal and Luisão Falcão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Potyrendaba players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Delvino FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
