Spectators: 7212 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Germano Aguiar started the match with the kick off. Jericoaquara FC's Fred Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Barreto in the 4th minute of play. Fred Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elivélton Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute Germano Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Perivaldo Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Pedrinho Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Perivaldo Dracena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jericoaquara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Perivaldo Dracena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuri Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fiori da Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Yuri Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Timão Mito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Dracena came free, but Yuri Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Perivaldo Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 33 minutes, Eusébio Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jericoaquara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Perivaldo Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedrinho Zanette took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yuri Paraíba. Yuri Paraíba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Timão Mito AFC defense, Hernani Custódio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yuri Paraíba. The Timão Mito AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yuri Paraíba should have stopped the shot. Perivaldo Dracena might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yuri Paraíba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Perivaldo Dracena ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Perivaldo Dracena to strike the kick off in the second half. Perivaldo Dracena struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Yuri Paraíba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jericoaquara FC. Ramiro Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Timão Mito AFC's goalkeeper Yuri Paraíba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgar Barreto charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar Barreto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edgar Barreto hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Jericoaquara FC's Yuri Paraíba threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eusébio Porto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Barreto in the 69th minute of play forced Jericoaquara FC's goalkeeper Fred Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Jericoaquara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Tande came free, but Fred Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germano Aguiar hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Timão Mito AFC's zone, Pedrinho Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri Paraíba came out of the goal and Pedrinho Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Perivaldo Dracena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jericoaquara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Perivaldo Dracena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuri Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Perivaldo Dracena in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yuri Paraíba saved Timão Mito AFC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Jericoaquara FC's Eusébio Porto got a free kick in the 88th minute. Yuri Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perivaldo Dracena in the 91st minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Jericoaquara FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Timão Mito AFC.
