Fred Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Timão Mito AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ramiro Tande hit a great ball. Itaperuna-RJ's Mateus Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Tande in the 11th minute of play. Fred Paulista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yuri Paraíba having to make a save. A hard shot 14 in the game by Nicolas Brito from a close distance when the talented Yuri Paraíba managed to make a qualified save. Timão Mito AFC's players were relieved. Nicolas Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Timão Mito AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Fred Paulista scored to the left of an out of position Yuri Paraíba, making the score, 2-0. In the 25th match minute, Timão Mito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Barreto to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Timão Mito AFC's Giovani Massa got a free kick in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Fred Paulista dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yuri Paraíba, 3-0. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Itaperuna-RJ! In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Timão Mito AFC. Giovani Massa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mateus Massa. 3-1. Adolfo Cresconio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fred Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Yuri Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fred Paulista was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Germano Aguiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateus Massa was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 65 minutes into the game, Itaperuna-RJ's Hortêncio Simões nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yuri Paraíba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 71st minute Itaperuna-RJ were awarded a corner. Jaime Pena went to the cornerflag to take it. Yuri Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Paulista in the 73rd minute of the match. After 76 played minutes Timão Mito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Barreto. Ramiro Tande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Mateus Massa made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Fred Paulista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itaperuna-RJ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. After a defensive mix-up in Itaperuna-RJ's zone, Germano Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateus Massa came out of the goal and Germano Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the game, Timão Mito AFC's Ramiro Tande nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateus Massa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2.
