Spectators: 7262 (Terracing: 5448, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Germano Aguiar took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Aguiar in the 3rd minute of play forced Cipotanea's goalkeeper César Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doriva Azevedo's late challenge caught a Timão Mito AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doriva Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cipotanea getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Doriva Azevedo hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Ramiro Tande's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but César Vides was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Yuri Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Batista in the 17th minute of play. Luiz Guilherme Batista received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yuri Paraíba came out and tried to block the shot, but Luiz Guilherme Batista slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. The supporters of Cipotanea booed when Timão Mito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton Paes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Germano Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timão Mito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germano Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Germano Aguiar notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cipotanea's César Vides. César Vides was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ramiro Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Luiz Guilherme Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th match minute, Timão Mito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Barreto to maneuver through the defense. Cipotanea's Dudu Quadros couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Timão Mito AFC. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Luiz Guilherme Batista made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Cipotanea's César Vides got control of the ball when Ramiro Tande tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlinhos Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Cipotanea getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Albertinho Gerber hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Timão Mito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Tinoco came free, but Yuri Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Carlinhos Sampaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cipotanea's César Vides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Cipotanea from getting a goal against them. Zé Paulo Prata hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Yuri Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, Cipotanea's César Vides got control of the ball when Ramiro Tande tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlinhos Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Edgar Barreto fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Timão Mito AFC's protests and gave Edgar Barreto a yellow card for diving instead. Edgar Barreto hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd match minute, Cipotanea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Carlos Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. Cipotanea's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Elivélton Paes scored to the left of an out of position César Vides, making the score, 1-2.
