Sidney Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Elano Schmidt charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elano Schmidt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tubibau SS booed when Cairú Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elano Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Oséias de Lima made a precise shot to the right of Sidney Braga. Cairú Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Oséias de Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sidney Braga was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. A collision led to Tubibau SS getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Alex Souto hit a great ball. Cairú Futebol Clube's Sidney Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséias de Lima in the 42nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oséias de Lima in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sidney Braga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oséias de Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cairú Futebol Clube's Sérgio Sanches got a free kick in the 51st minute. Alex Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 59 minutes into the game, Oséias de Lima recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sidney Braga. Oséias de Lima showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Narciso Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Zanette having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, José Pedro Nóbrega was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cairú Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tubibau SS the free kick. In the 66th minute, José Pedro Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cairú Futebol Clube's Sidney Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséias de Lima in the 67th minute of play. In the 76th minute Narciso Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82ndth minute of the game Oséias de Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cairú Futebol Clube's Sidney Braga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sérgio Sanches recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alex Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oséias de Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sidney Braga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Alex Souto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tubibau SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Oséias de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Braga having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Tubibau SS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cairú Futebol Clube.
