After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Saldanha! The referee gave Timão Mito AFC a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Giovani Massa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Saldanha's Valdir Madureira. 1-0. Germano Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Madureira having to interfere. After 15 minutes of play, Timão Mito AFC's Germano Aguiar made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdir Madureira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cipriano Arantes hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Valdir Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Magno Souza came free in the 23rd minute and tried to tip the ball over Yuri Paraíba, but to the joy of Timão Mito AFC's supporters the ball went over. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Saldanha's goalkeeper Valdir Madureira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Timão Mito AFC's Germano Aguiar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Timão Mito AFC's Germano Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Germano Aguiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdir Madureira. Saldanha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Germano Aguiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Valdir Madureira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Germano Aguiar went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Germano Aguiar took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdir Madureira. Valdir Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Cipriano Arantes hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Ramiro Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramiro Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Germano Aguiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdir Madureira was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. 86 minutes into the match, Edgar Barreto notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Saldanha's Valdir Madureira. Valdir Madureira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 89 minutes into the match, Saldanha's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Aguiar came free, but Valdir Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdir Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Tande in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Timão Mito AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Saldanha had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
