The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luís Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlinhos Sampaio in the 3rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Dé Tinoco could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which César Vides however easily saved by the left post. Andrézinho Neves was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Orcs of City FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Andrézinho Neves came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Orcs of City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrézinho Neves couldn't finish the play. Dé Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Vides having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Andrézinho Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orcs of City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrézinho Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. César Vides breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th match minute, Cipotanea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmo Lima to maneuver through the defense. When Orcs of City FC's Andrézinho Neves in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cipotanea's goalie prevented a goal. Cipotanea's César Vides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Cipotanea from getting a goal against them. Dé Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Vides having to interfere. Dé Tinoco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but César Vides made a huge save. After 44 minutes, Paulo Berger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cipotanea and the Orcs of City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cipotanea's Paulo Berger got a free kick in the 44th minute. Dé Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Vides having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrézinho Neves made a kick off. Andrézinho Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. César Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Orcs of City FC's zone, Luiz Guilherme Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Penha came out of the goal and Luiz Guilherme Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Orcs of City FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Renatinho Leal hit a great ball. Carlinhos Sampaio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Luís Penha made a huge save. Luiz Guilherme Batista had several of the Orcs of City FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Luís Penha as he didn't even see the shot coming. Amílton Vides's late challenge caught a Cipotanea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amílton Vides helped the player get up and apologised. 76 minutes into the game, one of Orcs of City FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 78 minutes, Cipotanea's Dudu Quadros got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luís Penha. A collision led to Cipotanea getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Gil Tinoco hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Cipotanea's goal looked a bit too open when Dé Tinoco came free, but César Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cipotanea's Luiz Guilherme Batista in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Orcs of City FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Luiz Guilherme Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Júlio Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Orcs of City FC's zone, Luiz Guilherme Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Penha came out of the goal and Luiz Guilherme Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 100th minute the ball was on its way in behind Orcs of City FC's goalkeeper Luís Penha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Cipotanea players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
