The supporters of Timão Mito AFC booed when Tacuarichim SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doni Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timão Mito AFC's Yuri Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Costa in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Maria de Almeida got free with Yuri Paraíba in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th match minute, Timão Mito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Barreto to maneuver through the defense. José Maria de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Paraíba having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Maria de Almeida got free with Yuri Paraíba in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If José Maria de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes Tacuarichim SC got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Lira. Olavo Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gilvan Bertassi was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Ramiro Tande capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ramiro Tande really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Gilvan Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ramiro Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Tacuarichim SC fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Tacuarichim SC's José Maria de Almeida looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Afonso Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Maria de Almeida in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuri Paraíba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Timão Mito AFC's Edgar Barreto got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Edgar Barreto off the ground. After 75 played minutes Timão Mito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Barreto. When Tacuarichim SC's Lino Costa in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Yuri Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Zé Paulo Prata fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Timão Mito AFC's protests and gave Zé Paulo Prata a yellow card for diving instead. Yuri Paraíba came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Tacuarichim SC's José Maria de Almeida. But to his dismay, José Maria de Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Germano Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elivélton Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Gilvan Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Doni Lago made a precise shot to the right of Yuri Paraíba. Timão Mito AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Tacuarichim SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
