Spectators: 7334 (Terracing: 5537, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 100) Floripa United's Davi Alves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Conrado Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Brito in the 9th minute of the match. Nicolas Brito succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 13th playminute. Genílson Nóbrega's late challenge caught a Itaperuna-RJ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genílson Nóbrega helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes Floripa United got a freekick which was hit by Genílson Nóbrega. Itaperuna-RJ's Fred Paulista got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Itaperuna-RJ's Adolfo Cresconio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Conrado Cardozo. That made the score 2-1 after 20 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fiori de Azevedo during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Floripa United's Fiori de Azevedo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Floripa United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Adolfo Cresconio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 31 minutes into the match, Adolfo Cresconio notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Floripa United's Conrado Cardozo. Conrado Cardozo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Conrado Cardozo made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Adolfo Cresconio sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute, Nicolas Brito reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Conrado Cardozo. The goal made the score 4-1. Nicolas Brito might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conrado Cardozo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Brito ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Floripa United's Conrado Cardozo got control of the ball when Adolfo Cresconio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolas Brito made a kick off. If Fred Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. In the 61stth minute of the game Fred Paulista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Floripa United's Conrado Cardozo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Cresconio in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conrado Cardozo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute Adolfo Cresconio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Cresconio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Floripa United's goalkeeper Conrado Cardozo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adolfo Cresconio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Conrado Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Floripa United defense, Fred Paulista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conrado Cardozo. The Floripa United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conrado Cardozo should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Itaperuna-RJ booed when Floripa United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvinho Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 played minutes Jaime Pena shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Floripa United's Conrado Cardozo to catch but Jaime Pena was lucky. It became 7-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. In the 89th minute, Fernandão Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 94 minutes, Davi Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floripa United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davi Alves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Pedro Sá hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Davi Alves fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the referee ended the match the Itaperuna-RJ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
