Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Patrick Bueno kicked off to start the match. When Elivélton Paes fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Timão Mito AFC's protests and gave Elivélton Paes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Timão Mito AFC's Elivélton Paes got a free kick in the 4th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Taio SS's goalkeeper Faustão Marquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Tande. Yuri Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Paulista in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Simão Paulista notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Timão Mito AFC's Yuri Paraíba. Yuri Paraíba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Timão Mito AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Elivélton Paes hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Taio SS's zone, Germano Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustão Marquez came out of the goal and Germano Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Taio SS's Patrick Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simão Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, Gernando Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Taio SS booed when Timão Mito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Gustavo Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simão Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Paraíba having to interfere. Antônio de Lara struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Yuri Paraíba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taio SS. 47 minutes into the match, Antônio de Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yuri Paraíba. Timão Mito AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antônio de Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Yuri Paraíba made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Simão Paulista sent off a good shot on target. Patrick Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Yuri Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro Tande in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustão Marquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Faustão Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Aguiar in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Taio SS's Antônio de Lara got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Faustão Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Aguiar in the 64th minute of play. Faustão Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Aguiar in the 65th minute of the match. If Germano Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A nice corner shot did that Elivélton Paes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Faustão Marquez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simão Paulista got free with Yuri Paraíba in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yuri Paraíba made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Simão Paulista sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taio SS's goalkeeper Faustão Marquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Taio SS's Faustão Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Aguiar in the 86th minute of play. Timão Mito AFC's Ramiro Tande got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yuri Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simão Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Yuri Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Patrick Bueno rounded Timão Mito AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. The Timão Mito AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Taio SS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
