Saldanha
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Magno Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saldanha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tacuarichim SC the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Saldanha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Souza to maneuver through the defense. Valdir Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The supporters of Saldanha booed when Tacuarichim SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doni Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute José Maria de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdir Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Sá's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilvan Bertassi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. José Maria de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Madureira having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Lino Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdir Madureira was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Maria de Almeida in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdir Madureira saved Saldanha from getting behind. Saldanha's Valdir Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Maria de Almeida in the 20th minute of play. After some careless play in the Saldanha defense, Lino Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdir Madureira. The Saldanha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdir Madureira should have stopped the shot. Valdir Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Maria de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Lino Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Saldanha's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria de Almeida came free, but Valdir Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Sá received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gilvan Bertassi came out and tried to block the shot, but Ricardo Sá slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 37th minute. Valdir Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Costa in the 44th minute of play. After 48 minutes of play, Tacuarichim SC's Lino Costa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdir Madureira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardo Sá to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, José Maria de Almeida fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 62nd match minute, Saldanha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcinho Xavier to maneuver through the defense. José Maria de Almeida took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdir Madureira. Valdir Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. If José Maria de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Maria de Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Valdir Madureira made a huge save. In the 77th match minute, Saldanha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcinho Xavier to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Saldanha's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Costa came free, but Valdir Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdir Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Costa in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, José Maria de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacuarichim SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Maria de Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lino Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Tacuarichim SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
