Oséias de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Vides having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, one of Cipotanea:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 20th minute Oséias de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, César Vides successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 22nd minute, Gil Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Souto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, César Vides skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Alex Souto sped through Cipotanea's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of César Vides. If Alex Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oséias de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cipotanea getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dalmo Lima hit a great ball. César Vides acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dorian Quirino. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oséias de Lima made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Alex Souto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but César Vides was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 53rd minute Oséias de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cipotanea's Gil Tinoco got a free kick in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Cipotanea's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias de Lima came free, but César Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tubibau SS booed when Cipotanea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmo Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alex Souto came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Tubibau SS fans jumped to their feet. After a defensive mix-up in Tubibau SS's zone, Luiz Guilherme Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamílton Zanette came out of the goal and Luiz Guilherme Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After recieving a nice pass, Cipotanea's Dudu Quadros tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Tubibau SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
