The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nilmar Sanches during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Genílson Nóbrega's late challenge caught a Orcs of City FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genílson Nóbrega helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, Floripa United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genílson Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Renatinho Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Cardozo having to interfere. Conrado Cardozo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Davi Alves made a kick off. If Fernandão Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. In the 61st minute Dé Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orcs of City FC's Andrézinho Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute Dé Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrado Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrézinho Neves in the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Floripa United's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Sanches came free, but Conrado Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Floripa United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
