César Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Jericoaquara FC's Fred Leme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Jericoaquara FC from getting a goal against them. Cipotanea's Carlinhos Sampaio got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Jericoaquara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme Batista came free, but Fred Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
