When Timão Mito AFC's Germano Aguiar, in the 10th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Timão Mito AFC. If Ramiro Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Timão Mito AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Giovani Massa hit a great ball. Cairú Futebol Clube's Sidney Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Aguiar in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Ramiro Tande had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sidney Braga. Cairú Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramiro Tande was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Narciso Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 minutes, Ramiro Tande made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cairú Futebol Clube's Sidney Braga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th match minute, Cairú Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Netto to maneuver through the defense. Germano Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Sidney Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Germano Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Braga having to interfere. After the first half Timão Mito AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 55 minutes of play, Timão Mito AFC's Ramiro Tande made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sidney Braga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramiro Tande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Sidney Braga made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro Tande in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sidney Braga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Germano Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cairú Futebol Clube's zone, Ramiro Tande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidney Braga came out of the goal and Ramiro Tande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramiro Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Sidney Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reinaldo Rosado struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Yuri Paraíba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cairú Futebol Clube. After a rather tough play, Cairú Futebol Clube's Reinaldo Rosado got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 81 played minutes, Cairú Futebol Clube's Zé Paulo Novaes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yuri Paraíba came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cairú Futebol Clube reached it. Reinaldo Rosado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Narciso Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuri Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Rosado in the 94th minute of play.
