Spectators: 5624 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 24) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Valdomiro Salgado took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Enéas Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guanumbi's protests and gave Enéas Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ROSÁRIO F.C booed when Guanumbi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enéas Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Telmo Antunes managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when ROSÁRIO F.C's Germano de Lara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Germano de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. ROSÁRIO F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Germano de Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telmo Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in ROSÁRIO F.C's zone, Gilberto Lira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Márcio Cardozo came out of the goal and Gilberto Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to ROSÁRIO F.C getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Luís Fábio de Toledo hit a great ball. Francisco Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio Cardozo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luís Bueno in the 31st minute of play forced ROSÁRIO F.C's goalkeeper Márcio Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Gilberto Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot. ROSÁRIO F.C's Márcio Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís Bueno in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Luís Fábio de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Márcio Cardozo came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Guanumbi's Gilberto Lira. But to his dismay, Gilberto Lira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Luís Bueno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, one of ROSÁRIO F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ROSÁRIO F.C. In the 57thth minute of the game André Luís Bueno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ROSÁRIO F.C's Márcio Cardozo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to ROSÁRIO F.C getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Patrick Lucas hit a great ball. If André Luís Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Francisco Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Márcio Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute André Luís Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Luís Bueno let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 69th minute shot 0-4 at rihgt post. After 72 minutes, Patrick Lucas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ROSÁRIO F.C and the Guanumbi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patrick Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Zézinho Mangueira hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When André Luís Bueno in the 78th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Márcio Cardozo kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-5 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Telmo Antunes came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by ROSÁRIO F.C's Germano de Lara. But to his dismay, Germano de Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. André Luís Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio Cardozo having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, ROSÁRIO F.C's goal looked a bit too open when André Luís Bueno came free, but Márcio Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Márcio Cardozo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Luís Bueno's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdomiro Salgado in the 95th minute of play forced Guanumbi's goalkeeper Telmo Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ROSÁRIO F.C's Patrick Lucas suffered a concussion in the 96th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 96 minutes, Marcelo Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guanumbi and the ROSÁRIO F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcelo Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Guanumbi left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ROSÁRIO F.C.
