Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Luís Bueno in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dráuzio Massa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Senna charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. André Luís Buenos short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Dráuzio Massa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 30 minutes, Jairo Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patitucci FC and the Guanumbi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Patitucci FC got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Senna. Patitucci FC's Dráuzio Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Lira in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durvalino Secco in the 32nd minute of play forced Guanumbi's goalkeeper Telmo Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olívio Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Telmo Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Dráuzio Massa managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Guanumbi's André Luís Bueno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jairo Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Antunes having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when André Luís Bueno made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game André Luís Bueno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Patitucci FC's Dráuzio Massa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 55th minute André Luís Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélio da Cunha got free with Telmo Antunes in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Telmo Antunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hélio da Cunha in the 58th minute. Telmo Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Senna in the 59th minute of the match. Jairo Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Antunes having to interfere. A collision led to Patitucci FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Olívio Reis hit a great ball. In the 81stth minute of the game André Luís Bueno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Patitucci FC's Dráuzio Massa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Guanumbi's André Luís Bueno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dráuzio Massa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Francisco Peres came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Guanumbi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Peres couldn't finish the play. André Luís Bueno spun around in front of the goal 90 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Patitucci FC's goal. Francisco Peres struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Dráuzio Massa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guanumbi. 95 minutes into the match, Olívio Reis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Telmo Antunes, 2-1.
