With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luís Bueno in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuca Nóbrega saved Toca I Saii from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Toca I Saii's zone, André Luís Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuca Nóbrega came out of the goal and André Luís Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 minutes of play, Guanumbi's Gilberto Lira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuca Nóbrega was left in no man's land by his defense there! André Luís Bueno might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuca Nóbrega. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Luís Bueno ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Peres in the 27th minute of play forced Toca I Saii's goalkeeper Samuca Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29thth minute of the game André Luís Bueno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toca I Saii's Samuca Nóbrega was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Luís Bueno in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuca Nóbrega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Guanumbi booed when Toca I Saii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Toca I Saii's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Peres came free, but Samuca Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Toca I Saii fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuca Nóbrega should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Guanumbi left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Toca I Saii.
