Spectators: 7218 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Bernardo Marques started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, SOKANELINHAS F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Borges came free, but Raí Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind SOKANELINHAS F.C.'s goalkeeper Raí Bezerra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chicão Palmeira charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chicão Palmeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Enrique Zonta made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Cristiano Seco sent off a good shot on target. If Isaltino de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Raí Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 21st minute of the match Chicão Palmeira completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Chicão Palmeira a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 22 played minutes SOKANELINHAS F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Palmeira. Enrique Zonta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Seco in the 25th minute. Enrique Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabinho Branco during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes Carpina AD got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Branco. Cristiano Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Enrique Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SOKANELINHAS F.C.'s Lúcio Catarinense got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raí Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaltino de Amorim in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raí Bezerra saved SOKANELINHAS F.C. from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in SOKANELINHAS F.C.'s zone, Isaltino de Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raí Bezerra came out of the goal and Isaltino de Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raí Bezerra came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Carpina AD's Felipe Borges. But to his dismay, Felipe Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Felipe Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaltino de Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Marques hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Felipe Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Felipe Borges came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Carpina AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Borges couldn't finish the play. Clemente Batista was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Oséias Pirani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SOKANELINHAS F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carpina AD the free kick. The supporters of Carpina AD booed when SOKANELINHAS F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséias Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raí Bezerra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Clemente Batista showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 73 minute of play. Róbson Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Raí Bezerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Borges went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Raí Bezerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaltino de Amorim's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Isaltino de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raí Bezerra having to interfere. Raí Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaltino de Amorim in the 96th minute of the match.
