Spectators: 7372 (Terracing: 5530, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when André Luís Bueno kicked off to start the match. Nova Ordem de Soberania's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gilberto Lira 4 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Nova Ordem de Soberania's goalkeeper Zé Pereira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Luís Bueno. In the 12th minute Guanumbi were awarded a corner. André Luís Bueno went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Lira in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Pereira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Francisco Peres came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Guanumbi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Peres couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Nova Ordem de Soberania's zone, Gilberto Lira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Pereira came out of the goal and Gilberto Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guanumbi's Gilberto Lira suffered a concussion after 27 minutes and had to leave the field. 27 minutes into the game, João Francisco Ferreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nova Ordem de Soberania's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guanumbi the free kick. André Luís Bueno walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. André Luís Bueno who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Zé Pereira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Francisco Peres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Pereira having to make a save. If Francisco Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Favila Breijoo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 59 minutes, André Luís Bueno made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Nova Ordem de Soberania's Zé Pereira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd match minute, Nova Ordem de Soberania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Valadares to maneuver through the defense. Zé Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Nova Ordem de Soberania's goal looked a bit too open when André Luís Bueno came free, but Zé Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Olívio Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th match minute, Nova Ordem de Soberania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf Rääbis to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute André Luís Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
