Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Loureiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. João Francisco Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 0-5 became the score in the 74th minute when Evaristo Loureiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Edgar Vasconcelos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for João Francisco Cordeiro. Novo Hamburgo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Evaristo Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Luiz Gustavo de Amaral sped through Gentio's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guilherme Aparecido. When the match was over Novo Hamburgo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gentio throughout the match.
