After a rather tough play, Itaquahy FC's Célio Varela got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Rogério Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The tension between the Itaquahy FC and the Union Flush Star players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Itaquahy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Messias to maneuver through the defense. Itaquahy FC's Sidnei de Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Itaquahy FC from getting a goal against them. Union Flush Star's Germano Soeiro pulled a muscle in his back after 22 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 22 minutes into the game, Adalberto Paraense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itaquahy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Union Flush Star the free kick. Union Flush Star's Cristian Mattos was substituted for Germano Soeiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Negri in the 28th minute of play forced Union Flush Star's goalkeeper Maicon Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29th play minutes Aloísio Bastos shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Sidnei de Mendonça and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Meirelles in the 34th minute of play forced Itaquahy FC's goalkeeper Sidnei de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Itaquahy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Guilherme Custódio came free, but Sidnei de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Itaquahy FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Adalberto Paraense hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Rogério Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Union Flush Star's Luís Guilherme Custódio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sidnei de Mendonça narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dedé Goiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Union Flush Star's Rogério Meirelles got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adalberto Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 73 minutes Itaquahy FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Remo Vides who took care of the corner kick. Sidnei de Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Mattos went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Rogério Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 played minutes Itaquahy FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Aguiar. Rogério Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 91st minute, Cristian Mattos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Guilherme Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Sidnei de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adalberto Paraense was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Union Flush Star had played much better football throughout.
