Spectators: 6270 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 20) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Juan Ferreira kicked off to start the match. Frédson Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match, Paulinho Soeiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Osvaldinho Borges was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 10 minutes, Frédson Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bom de Bola FC and the Betim FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Frédson Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogério Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Betim FC's goalkeeper Osvaldinho Borges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dedé de Alcântara. In the 26th minute of the match, Dedé de Alcântara got a very nice opportunity to score, but Osvaldinho Borges was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 28 minutes into the match, Betim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Ferreira came free, but Osvaldinho Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ademar Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dedé de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When Dino Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Betim FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Dino Cardoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Róbson Terra having to make a save. With a little luck, Betim FC's Osvaldinho Borges got control of the ball when Dedé de Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ademar Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dino Cardoso made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Bom de Bola FC's Dedé de Alcântara got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bom de Bola FC's zone, Dino Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Róbson Terra came out of the goal and Dino Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldinho Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Soeiro in the 61st minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, Betim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Ademar Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bom de Bola FC's zone, Dino Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Róbson Terra came out of the goal and Dino Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Betim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Soeiro came free, but Osvaldinho Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bom de Bola FC's Dedé de Alcântara got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Dedé de Alcântara off the ground. After 84 played minutes Bom de Bola FC got a freekick which was hit by Dedé de Alcântara. In the 92nd match minute, Betim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Betim FC booed when Bom de Bola FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 97 minutes Bom de Bola FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dino Cardoso who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Sidnei Lopez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Róbson Terra quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Despite being the better team, Betim FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
