Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iuri Fontes took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute of the match Gernando Cavalcante shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sidnei de Mendonça showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Iuri Fontes struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Sidnei de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gentio. In the 10th match minute, Itaquahy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. José Pedro Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei de Mendonça having to interfere. José Pedro Alagoano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 16th playminute. Sidnei de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri Fontes in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Itaquahy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iuri Fontes came free, but Sidnei de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidnei de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Itaquahy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iuri Fontes came free, but Sidnei de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guilherme Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iuri Fontes in the 32nd minute of play forced Itaquahy FC's goalkeeper Sidnei de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Pedro Alagoano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Sidnei de Mendonça when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adalberto Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Dedé Goiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dedé Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Aparecido having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Itaquahy FC's Orlando Negri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guilherme Aparecido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José Pedro Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei de Mendonça having to interfere. Itaquahy FC's Sidnei de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri Fontes in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Negri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Orlando Negri might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guilherme Aparecido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orlando Negri ran back to his position shaking his head. Guilherme Aparecido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Negri's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. If Dedé Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chiquinho Lima hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Gentio's Guilherme Aparecido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Gentio from getting a goal against them. Dedé Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Aparecido having to interfere. After some careless play in the Gentio defense, Dedé Goiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guilherme Aparecido. The Gentio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guilherme Aparecido should have stopped the shot. Mário Lucas's late challenge caught a Gentio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mário Lucas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Mário Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the game, Orlando Negri recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guilherme Aparecido. Orlando Negri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Iuri Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Itaquahy FC's Adalberto Paraense got a free kick in the 80th minute. Orlando Negri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guilherme Aparecido having to make a save. Dedé Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvinho Falcão hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Negri in the 94th minute of play forced Gentio's goalkeeper Guilherme Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gentio's Guilherme Aparecido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Gentio from getting a goal against them. The Gentio supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Itaquahy FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Itaquahy FC.
