Spectators: 7257 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Didi Seco made the kick off which started today's match. Maktub's Claudinho Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júnior Dias in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 played minutes Maktub got a freekick which was hit by Silas Barral. Sandrinho de Amaral hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Júnior Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Trigo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FrangoMal FC's Cássio Donatello got a free kick in the 13th minute. Acácio França had several of the FrangoMal FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Osvaldo Pitta as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 17 minutes, Cássio Donatello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FrangoMal FC and the Maktub players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute, Cássio Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Maktub getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Claudinho Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Didi Seco in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Júnior Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. FrangoMal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Júnior Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinho Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 35 minutes, Didi Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FrangoMal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Didi Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osvaldo Pitta made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Raphael Baiano sent off a good shot on target. Raphael Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Osvaldo Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Maktub's Osvaldo Pitta threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Acácio França, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Osvaldo Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th match minute, FrangoMal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabinho Palmeira to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Acácio França was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Didi Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinho Trigo was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Didi Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudinho Trigo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Didi Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. Júnior Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Claudinho Trigo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Baiano in the 60th minute of play forced FrangoMal FC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júnior Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Paulo Peres's late challenge caught a FrangoMal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Paulo Peres helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Maktub fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, FrangoMal FC's Romário Matorin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Claudinho Trigo. With a little luck, Maktub's Claudinho Trigo got control of the ball when Júnior Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Júnior Dias got free with Claudinho Trigo in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Maktub getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Frédson Lopez hit a great ball. A hard shot by Romário Matorin from long distance, 79 minutes into the match, got Claudinho Trigo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Seco in the 81st minute of play forced Maktub's goalkeeper Claudinho Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Didi Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maktub's Claudinho Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maktub's Claudinho Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Maktub from getting a goal against them. Claudinho Trigo made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Júnior Dias sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd minute Didi Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Acácio França received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Osvaldo Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldo Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
