Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dráuzio Linhares started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Diniz got free with Fred de Queirós in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 4 played minutes Uniflor got a freekick which was hit by Wellington Ribeiro. In the 13th minute, Edmundo Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hudson Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Augusto Netto in the 15th minute of the match. Snorlax F.C.'s Fred de Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Snorlax F.C. from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Uniflor's zone, Luiz Fabiano Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hudson Vianna came out of the goal and Luiz Fabiano Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Frank Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 minutes of play, Uniflor's Miguel Diniz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fred de Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! 32 minutes into the game, Wellington Ribeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uniflor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Snorlax F.C. the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Wellington Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Snorlax F.C. booed when Uniflor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiaguinho Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Uniflor's Wellington Ribeiro got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 36 played minutes, Snorlax F.C.'s José Augusto Netto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hudson Vianna came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Snorlax F.C. reached it. Hudson Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. During the 40th minute of the match Wellington Ribeiro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wellington Ribeiro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Wellington Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Hudson Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Gaspar in the 43rd minute of the match. After 48 played minutes Snorlax F.C. got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Netto. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Gaspar to strike the kick off in the second half. When Luiz Fabiano Melo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Snorlax F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fabiano Melo couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Luiz Fabiano Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Snorlax F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fabiano Melo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hudson Vianna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uniflor's Hudson Vianna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Gaspar in the 56th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Luiz Fabiano Melo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Uniflor's Hudson Vianna. Hudson Vianna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frank Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hudson Vianna having to interfere. Frank Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Miguel Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Uniflor's Hudson Vianna got control of the ball when Luiz Fabiano Melo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
