Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edgar Marques made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Marques in the 6th minute of play forced Maktub's goalkeeper Claudinho Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Maktub's zone, Danilo de Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinho Trigo came out of the goal and Danilo de Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgar Marques struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Claudinho Trigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unidos do K4N. In the 16th minute Acácio França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evandro Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Claudinho Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Abel Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Maktub fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Abreu couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Silas Barral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Telmo Tavares. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Edgar Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Claudinho Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Telmo Tavares came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Maktub's Frédson Lopez. But to his dismay, Frédson Lopez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Edgar Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Claudinho Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Trigo having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Maktub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Vítor Camargo to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Unidos do K4N's Pedrinho Barros in action when he in the 42nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance!

The wind increased when Acácio França made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silas Barral in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Telmo Tavares saved Unidos do K4N from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio França in the 55th minute of play forced Unidos do K4N's goalkeeper Telmo Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Danilo de Salles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unidos do K4N's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maktub the free kick. If Edgar Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Acácio França during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Acácio França hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio França in the 78th minute of play forced Unidos do K4N's goalkeeper Telmo Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Telmo Tavares came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Maktub's Silas Barral. But to his dismay, Silas Barral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Edgar Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 90 minutes, Raphael Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maktub's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raphael Baiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudinho Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Marques in the 93rd minute of the match.
