Luís Fernando Tepedino charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Fernando Tepedino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, Ibitiuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, Tales Bittencourt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. M1to fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibitiuna the free kick. The supporters of Ibitiuna booed when M1to fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tales Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iuri Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fernando Tepedino in the 16th minute of play. Kléberson Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benê Berger made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Kléberson Palmeira sent off a good shot on target. Kléberson Palmeira in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benê Berger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Benê Berger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogério Paranaense in the 33rd minute. After 35 played minutes M1to fc got a freekick which was hit by Geovânio Brasil. José Augusto da Mata took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iuri Vieira. M1to fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. M1to fc's Iuri Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Porto in the 38th minute of play. After 43 played minutes Ibitiuna got a freekick which was hit by Faustão Sergipano. Agnaldo Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Iuri Vieira was a little too slow when Severino Porto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-1. If Severino Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Fernando Tepedino struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Iuri Vieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibitiuna. Agnaldo Fontes took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benê Berger. Benê Berger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. M1to fc's Iuri Vieira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save M1to fc from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind M1to fc's goalkeeper Iuri Vieira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Severino Porto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iuri Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Benê Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléberson Palmeira in the 97th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
