After having played for 5 minutes, Manoel Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. M1to fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manoel Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Didi Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Iuri Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iuri Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Augusto Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. M1to fc's Iuri Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Augusto Capixaba in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Agnaldo Fontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osvaldo Pitta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Tales Bittencourt fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored M1to fc's protests and gave Tales Bittencourt a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes M1to fc got a freekick which was hit by Tales Bittencourt. Didi Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iuri Vieira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Augusto Capixaba's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Agnaldo Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Osvaldo Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belmiro Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute Carlos Augusto Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iuri Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iuri Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Capixaba in the 39th minute of play. Didi Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Didi Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Agnaldo Fontes made the kick off in the second half. The FrangoMal FC fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when FrangoMal FC's Didi Seco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When FrangoMal FC's Carlos Augusto Capixaba in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye M1to fc's goalie prevented a goal. Iuri Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Didi Seco in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Didi Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iuri Vieira. M1to fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Didi Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Augusto Capixaba in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iuri Vieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute, Anísio Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, M1to fc's José Pedro Meirelles got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Augusto Capixaba in the 90th minute of play forced M1to fc's goalkeeper Iuri Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kléberson Palmeira got free with Osvaldo Pitta in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute Anísio Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iuri Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FrangoMal FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing M1to fc to leave the ground with a draw.
